Flower Ceremony
Friends and family are welcome to join Dallas United PINK as we close our 2024 season with the traditional Flower Ceremony. Guests can gather on the dock at Big Thicket on White Rock Lake where we will honor those who fought courageously, encourage those still fighting, and celebrate the survivor in all of us.
Pink flowers will be provided, but feel free to bring your own to toss upon the water in remembrance, prayer, and reflection for those affected by breast cancer. There is no seating at the dock, so feel free to bring a chair if necessary.

DFW Dragon Boat, Kite & Lantern Festival
The 15th Annual DFW Dragon Boat, Kite and Lantern Festival
For the 15th year, the Marco Polo World Foundation presents a unique and premier multi-cultural and educational event in North Texas. With strong support from businesses, community groups, and city governments, the festival has attracted widespread participation and media attention, with more than 15,000 of spectators each year and growing. Over 50 race teams participated each year, including boy scouts, breast cancer survivors, cities, corporations, schools, and non-profit community groups.
